Auf der längsten Seilbahn der Welt werden Sie das Meiste Über der Natur
erleben.
Mit der über 13 km langen Seilbahn zwischen Örträsk und Mensträsk in der
Gemeinde von Norsjö fahren Sie über Wäldern, Mooren, Seen und der
Welt der Tiere, en einem Västerbotten in Miniatur. Sie können auch in
südliches Lappland hineingucken. Jede Kabine kann 4 Personen tragen und
mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 10 km/Stunde ward die Fahrt von 13.163 m
(3.000 m über Seen und Gewässern) anderthalb stunde dauern. Unsere
Seilbahn (Sektion IV) ist ein Teil der 96 km lange Seilbahn zwischen
Kristineberg und Boliden. Auf dieser Seilbahn - auch die längste
Seilbahn der Welt - wurden während der Jahre 1943-1987 12 Millionen
Tonnen Gold in der Förderkörben transportiert worden. Die Seilbahn ist
einer der bildlichen Goldkörner im Grubenreich "Gold of Europe" - eine
Sehenwurdigheit für Touristen sowie ein Teil unserer
Industriegeschichte. Das Gold Europas im eigentlichen Sinne des Wortes
wird immer noch in dieser Gegend von Boliden Mineral AB abgebaut. Das
Seilbahn Museum, Café Skrädhuset, die schmalspurige Eisenbahn für
Kinder, Goldwaschen sowie die Staatwaldung Vidmarken sind andere
Erlebnisse, die Ihren ein Besuch bei der Seilbahn bietet.

See Lapland from the World's Longest Ropeway
On the world's longest ropeway you'll be
able to enjoy many things, most of them from above nature! The over 13
km long ropeway between Örträsk and Mensträsk in Norsjö municipality
will take you over woodland, marshes, lakes, and the world of the
animals in a Västerbotten in miniature. You will even be able to take a
look at southern Lapland. Each cabin is able to carry 4 people, and at a
speed of 10 km/hour it will take you 1,5 hours to ride the 13.163 m
(3.000 m of which above lakes and streams). Our ropeway (section IV) is
a part of the 96 km long ropeway between Kristineberg and Boliden.
Between 1943 and 1987 this ropeway - also the longest one in the world -
moved 12 million tons of ore concentrates. In addition to all the
copper, lead, zinc, sulphur, and silver, the ropeway buckets have also
transported tons of gold throughout the years. The ropeway is one of the
figurative golden nuggets in the mining region Gold of Europe - a
tourist attraction and a part of our industrial history as well. Mining
of the Gold of Europe in the literal sense of the world is still carried
out in these parts of the country by Boliden Mineral AB. The ropeway
museum, Café Skrädhuset, the narrow-gauge railway for children, gold
washing, and the Crown forest Vildmarken are other activities and things
worth seeing in connection with the ropeway.
